After yesterdays walk up Inglebrough, we decided to have a go at Pen-y-Gent as it was on the way home for one of the walkers. So we parked up in Horton in Ribbledale at the Car Park near the 3 peaks cafe and having decided to do a circular walk, too the track by the side of the Trading Post and walked up on the track between the walls before going up the fron side of the mountain to the top. Then we took the path back down to Horton that is the main one for the Three Peaks walk down the ridge and the grassy fields. The sun eventually came out as we descended so a couple of nice pictures were obtained. Then back to the cafe for a pint of tea each.
